““The skatepark project at The Marsh is the largest scheme that Weymouth Town Council has delivered since its inception in 2019 and the success of the project is directly linked to the fact that local riders helped design the skatepark.
Maverick led on a comprehensive consultation exercise that enabled hundreds of local young people to feedback their ideas. Community engagement sessions were then held, where a number of excited riders and some initially less excited residents attended, before the final design was submitted to the planning authority for permission to build.
Maverick kept the Council informed every step of the way and they worked with stakeholders to ensure their needs were also considered both at the design stage and throughout the build.
The project ran so smoothly and this is due to the professionalism, passion and knowledge that the team at Maverick provide. Weymouth now has a fabulous well used skatepark so thank you Maverick for making this whole process very easy.””
