NOW OPEN!

A landmark project for Maverick on Hove Seafront.

This meticulously crafted street plaza, a five-year labor of love, is now a reality.

A huge shoutout to everyone who made this park possible:
The council, the project steering group, numerous contractors, and a vibrant community.

Hove is officially on the map 📍

“As a skater myself, I share the excitement of the skating, skateboarding and BMX communities in the opening of these superb new facilities. We have worked with those communities to make sure we deliver what’s most important to them in the park, and the result looks great!”

The bespoke facility was designed by Maverick together with the local usergroup, led by Skatepark Development Officer Ricardo Magee Atxukarro and Liam Teague to create a park that reflects the needs of the local community.

Forming the heart of the design, a comprehensive mix of street features can be sessioned independently or hit up in a run and are accessible from every direction.

Our park designers were mindful to design the plaza so that the standing spaces don't interrupt the flow of the park while maintaining its street feel, with ample rolling space to enable younger less experienced riders to cruise around whilst staying out of the main run of the park.
